Firestop wraps (also referred to as fire protection bandages) foam up when exposed to heat so as to form an insulating barrier that prevents the spread of fire. These protective bandages make an efficient wrap-around for cables and cable support systems. They are easy to apply with a standard cutting tool (either scissors or a cutter knife).
